The fourth, right? tadoku contest is just around the corner and I started to look for books I'm going to read during the contest. I've been reading mostly romance or erotica lately, but I'm kind of fed up with reading same mellow and hot stories, so for the contest I chose different and much challenging books. Here are some of them.
A Short History of Nearly Everything
Both of them are rather tough read for me and I was able to manage to read about half so far. If I read them with audiobooks, I should be able to reach to the end, so I bought bill bryson's CD at bookdepositoy, which you can have 1o% off coupon for summer reading!, and silent spring's audio at audible. I looove bill bryson, so I'm terribly excited to get my hands on the CD maybe in two weeks.
Your Inner Fish: A Journey into the 3.5-Billion-Year History of the Human Body
I don't know why I picked this one, but don't you think the cover illustration is so tempting??? Well, considing that fact that I read it with my kindle, the cover illustration won't mean anything, though... The theme is paleontology, but there seem to be not many jargon and language is natural.
