NOYAMAKITA ROKUDOUZAN PARK

http://sayamaparks.com/noyama/index.html

My partner and I started volunteer work in this park.
This is the biggest park in Tokyo area and situated at the west side of Sayama Park. Rich natural environment of wood and valley is still here.
There are several interesting sites like protected spots of Japanese dog's tooth violet, light bug's habitats, an old fashioned Japanese house and rice fields.
Several lectures and festivals are hold throughout a year, so you can join some of them and experience good old days' life style of Japan.
It's also good for hiking and bird watching.
